When fears arise, know where they come from. When doubts and questions and confusion and anxiety come, and much confronting us, it is excellent to know their source from which they emerge! Gaze at this term of assurance in Paul’s second letter to the Church of Jesus Christ at Thessalonica. It can be applied to our lives today. What a tremendous tonic this must have been to those disciples of Jesus who were being pressurised and persecuted and who had been shaken by this fake and forged letter claiming to come from dear Paul. Our words, and our preaching, and our writings, are all so vital. There is authority here, as he encourages these believers to just do it and not to waste age arguing or discussing. God has all that is required to save and rescue you. Immediately, you have to respond.
